last comand post park
If you love World War II history, and want to know more about the final stages of the Battle of Saipan between US And Imperial Japanese forces, then a trip to the Last Command Post is a must see. There is an opportunity to see World War II-era guns and ordinance, see the cave which served as the last Japanese command post on Saipan, and to view the many memorials to those who died in the Battle, as well as those hoping for a peaceful future for the island. A great experience, as well as humbling. Enjoy!
